Digital X-Rays - Through the use of digital x-ray imaging and scanning we are able to see dental problems long before our patients can feel them. By catching dental disease at the earliest stages, we are able to treat the conditions much less invasively and much more affordably. Digital technology cuts radiation exposure to patients by as much as 90% over traditional x-rays. In addition, this new technology generates images that are diagnostically superior to x-ray film.

Intraoral Cameras - This tiny device is a video camera that moves around inside the mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam. Intraoral camera allows patients to be able to see what Dr. Sverdlov sees enabling them to be part of diagnosis and treatment decisions.

DentalVibe - For painless injections.

Laser - Dental lasers can be used to reduce the discomfort of canker and cold sores, expose partially erupted wisdom teeth, remove overgrown tissues caused by certain medications, perform biopsy procedures, remove inflamed gum tissues and aid in the treatment of gum disease, help treat infections in root canals.

Intraoral Scanner - We are always looking for ways to make dental treatment procedures less invasive, more reliable, and easier for you. In an effort to bring this process up to speed with our digitally-driven office, we utilize an iTero Element Intraoral Scanner. This device eliminates the need for messy impressions and provides the most accurate and detailed look into your treatment needs.

The iTero Element scanner works by scanning each of your teeth and the layout of your gums and mouth. The whole process only takes 3-5 minutes and quickly provides an extremely accurate, 3-D view of your mouth. Once the scan is complete, we can view the images together, and even see a simulation of your prosthetic restorations or Invisalign treatment. The data can then be sent wirelessly to Invisalign or to other dental labs for fabrication of appliances such as nightguards, Invisalign aligners, crowns, implant crowns, and bridges.

Digital Photography - One of our most important diagnostic tools is the digital camera. Having the ability to review digital images instantly and prior to treatment, allows Dr. Sverdlov to co-discover areas of concern. This is especially important when considering cosmetic changes.

Sterilization System - Ridge Family Dental is committed to our patient’s safety. All of us are concerned about the risk of exposure to infectious diseases. We are also sensitive to HIPAA regulations, which keep our patient’s personal information confidential. For your protection, our philosophy is this: If we can’t heat-sterilize it, we dispose of it.

Reception Area - Our reception area is equipped with refreshments and a massage chair.

We accept most traditional insurance plans. For your convenience we are happy to check your insurance benefits and assist with any insurance questions or issues that arise. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan with to help you pay for treatments and procedures your insurance doesn’t cover.
